Volleyball Recap: Bradshaw Mountain Comes Up Short

Bradshaw Mountain and St. Mary squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Bradshaw Mountain had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Bradshaw Mountain actually scored more points across those five sets (100-94), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 19-25, 10-25, 25-23, 15-13.

St. Mary's found their leader in sophomore Annie Wagner, who had seven assists and five digs.

Bradshaw Mountain's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-11. As for St. Mary's, their win bumped their record up to 19-10.

Bradshaw Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Mary's, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against ALA - Queen Creek on the 6th.
