On Wednesday Jacob Schick pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. The effort also marked the most strikeouts (three) Schick has had since back in March of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than two walks. On the year, he has an ERA of 3.07 over 13.7 innings pitched.
