Wednesday just wasn't the day for Holy Child's offense. They fell just short of the King Vikings by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Gryphons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Holy Child saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Avery Lanuza, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple was Lanuza's first of the season.
