Baseball Recap: Austin Takes a Loss

Austin lost against Westlake last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Austin lost 11-2 to Westlake. The Maroons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Austin's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Westlake, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Austin will venture away from home to square off against Akins at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Austin is facing Akins at the right time seeing as Akins is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Westlake, they are taking a road trip to face off against East View at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. East View will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Westlake surely won't give up without a fight.
