Basketball Recap: Old Mill Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Old Mill lost to Northeast back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Old Mill Patriots strolled past the Northeast Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 66-51. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Old Mill pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Old Mill will take on Glen Burnie on Tuesday. Glen Burnie knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Old Mill likes a good challenge. As for Northeast, they will challenge Southern on Tuesday.
