Football Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Eastmont Wildcats 69-6. The Cadets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 57-0.

Angel Arciga threw for 72 yards on eight of 20 attempts. Antonio Castillo was his top target, picking up 29 receiving yards.

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Eastmont, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Eisenhower is taking a road trip to face off against West Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cadets will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Eastmont, they will welcome Moses Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Mavericks have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
