While MacArthur didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 58-34 margin over the Normal University Pioneers on Friday. The Generals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 24 points or more this season.

MacArthur pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.5 points. As for Normal University, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

MacArthur will be taking part in a tournament against East Peoria at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Normal University and Eureka will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
