Northside - Pinetown had won four straight games and Malachi Moore did his part to make it five on Friday. Everything went the Panthers' way against the Gates County Red Barons as they made off with a 32-12 win thanks in part to Moore, who rushed for 129 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending one pass.

Northside - Pinetown's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Gates County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Northside - Pinetown and Gates County will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Panthers see the field they'll take on Lejeune at 7:30 p.m. on October 3. As for Gates County, their break will end when they face Perquimans at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
