Softball Preview: Lexington Yellowjackets vs. Salisbury Hornets
Lexington hasn't had much luck against Salisbury recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Lexington will challenge Salisbury at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Lexington lost 19-1 to West Davidson on Friday.
Meanwhile, Salisbury started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against East Davidson. They came up short against the Golden Eagles on Friday, falling 22-11. Hornets fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Golden Eagles since on Friday.
Salisbury saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allison Peeler, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Dasmine Ambers was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
