Basketball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Penn-Trafford Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Hillers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 413th, while the Warriors are ranked 205th).

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Penn-Trafford, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season.

Trinity wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-67 defeat against Ringgold on the 7th. As for Penn-Trafford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-67 victory against Laurel Highlands on the 7th.
