Football Recap: Strong Performance on D from Jayla Lopez and Reagan Coupe Leads Bonanza over Spring Valley

Bonanza won the last time they faced Spring Valley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bonanza Bengals took down the Spring Valley Grizzlies 20-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bengals.

Bonanza didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jayla Lopez and Reagan Coupe. Coupe also rushed for 169 rushing yards, which is notable because Bonanza is 8-4 when she posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise.

Bonanza now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Spring Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Bonanza has already played their next game, a 32-0 defeat against Sports Leadership & Management on the 7th. Spring Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
