Basketball Recap: University Comes Up Short

University lost against Calvary Christian Academy back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The University Titans fell 59-50 to the Calvary Christian Academy Lions. The Titans were down 47-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

University now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Deltona at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for University and six for Deltona. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they will take on Spruce Creek at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
