Volleyball Recap: Autumn Terrance Key Part of Team Effort in Guardians Win

John Paul the Great Academy won the last time they faced Varsity Opponent and things went their way on Friday too. The Guardians came out on top against Varsity Opponent by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Guardians.

John Paul the Great Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-15.

John Paul the Great Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Autumn Terrance led the charge by getting 16 assists and six aces. Terrance is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Anna Guidry was another key player, getting 13 kills and four aces.

They weren't the only good server: John Paul the Great Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 23 aces. They are 7-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

John Paul the Great Academy's record now sits at 7-5.
