Soccer Recap: Addison Trail Takes a Loss

Addison Trail managed to keep up with Hinsdale South until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Blazers came up short against the Hornets, falling 4-0. Addison Trail were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hinsdale South apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Addison Trail's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Hinsdale South, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Addison Trail will face off against Lake Park at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Addison Trail will be up against Lake Park's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.06 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hinsdale South, they will square off against Providence Catholic at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Providence Catholic's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Hinsdale South's offense will have their work cut out for them.
