Elle Glover spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and six unearned) runs on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Lilyana Balgos was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Jaidyn Swanson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

The victory got Everett back to even at 4-4. As for Marysville Getchell, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Everett skirted past Marysville Getchell 12-10 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Seagulls since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
