North came tearing into Friday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Tehachapi Warriors, posting an 89-41 victory. Given the Stars' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Warriors are ranked 562nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Tehachapi, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
