Baseball Game Preview: Falls City Beavers vs. Brackett Tigers

The Falls City Beavers will head out on the road to challenge the Brackett Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Falls City is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Falls City and D'Hanis had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Beavers fell just short of the Cowboys by a score of 6-5 on Friday.

Falls City saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was EJ Ramirez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Kole Cronk also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Meanwhile, Brackett unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 9-5 to Three Rivers.

Falls City's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8. As for Brackett, their record is now 8-5.

Everything went Falls City's way against Brackett in their previous meeting back in March, as Falls City made off with an 18-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Beavers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
