Rock Port wins going away against Mound City

Recap: Rock Port Blue Jays vs. Mound City Panthers
The Rock Port Blue Jays stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Mound City with a sharp 54-29 win. Rock Port pushed the score to 41-17 by the end of the third, a deficit Mound City had little chance of recovering from.
Rock Port had a senior duo take command as Bannack Skillen scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and Cade Makings scored 14 points along with three steals. Ozey Hurst was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Rock Port has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Mound City, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rock Port will take on Stanberry at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Rock Port's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Stanberry has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road. Mound City will take on Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
