Baseball Recap: Lynn Classical Comes Up Short

Lynn Classical blew Gloucester out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Gloucester got their revenge. The Rams fell just short of the Fishermen by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Rams' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lynn Classical now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Gloucester, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Coming up, Lynn Classical will square off against Lynn English at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Gloucester, they will head out to face off against Danvers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Fishermen 1.8, the Falcons 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
