Lake Gibson pushed their score to four the last time they played Fort Meade, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. The Lake Gibson Braves came out on top against the Fort Meade Miners by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Hagen Booth and Ellis Malonowski scored both of Lake Gibson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Lake Gibson is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3-2 record this season. As for Fort Meade, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Lake Gibson and Auburndale will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Fort Meade, they will be home for the holidays to greet Hardee at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
