Ashley is 9-1 against North Brunswick since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Ashley will host North Brunswick at 6:30 p.m. Ashley will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

On Friday, Ashley beat South Brunswick 6-3.

Ashley got a great performance from Jackson Lee as he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tanner Berry, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Bentley, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, North Brunswick came up short against Laney on Friday and fell 6-2.

North Brunswick saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Grisso, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Ashley pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for North Brunswick, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

North Brunswick's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Ashley has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .462. It's a different story for North Brunswick, though, as they've only averaged .350. Will they be able to contain Ashley's hitters?

Ashley took their victory against North Brunswick in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0. Does Ashley have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Brunswick turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
