The Savage Warriors's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 40-36 W over MonDak [Westby/Grenora]. That's another feather in the cap for Savage, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
MonDak [Westby/Grenora]'s loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abby Lowes, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Erika Christian, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
