Football Recap: Sherwood Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sherwood can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 53-6 loss at the hands of the Windsor Greyhounds. The Marksmen have struggled against the Greyhounds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Logan Mueller threw for 90 yards on eight of 18 attempts. Brody Kimbrough was his top target, picking up 56 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Ab Chaikin rushed for 28 yards.

Sherwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Windsor, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-1.

Sherwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Windsor, they will challenge Adrian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Greyhounds 12.7, the Blackhawks 14.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
