Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Moeller Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lakota East last Wednesday, Archbishop Moeller came back down to earth. The Fighting Crusaders lost 3-0 to the St. Xavier Bombers on Friday. The Fighting Crusaders haven't had much luck with the Bombers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 25-18.

Archbishop Moeller's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for St. Xavier, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Moeller is taking a road trip to square off against Centerville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Xavier, they will be playing at home against Mt. Vernon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
