Football Recap: Central Skates Past Chippewa Valley with Ease + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Notre Dame Prep, Central was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Chippewa Valley Big Reds, posting a 41-7 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given the Trail Blazers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while the Big Reds are ranked 33rd).

The victory got Central back to even at 1-1. As for Chippewa Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Central will take on East English Village Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chippewa Valley, they will venture away from home to challenge Lakeview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
