Recap: Red Cloud Warriors vs. Kenesaw Blue Devils
Even though the Red Cloud Warriors have not done well against the Kenesaw Blue Devils recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Red Cloud walked away with a 39-26 victory over Kenesaw. This was a revenge match for Red Cloud, as the team was forced to settle for a 38-31 loss when these two played last Monday.
Among those leading the charge was Adelynn Minnick, who scored 12 points.
Despite the loss, Kenesaw still got an impressive performance from Avery Kelley, who scored 12 points.
Red Cloud has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Kenesaw, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Red Cloud will take on Deshler at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Red Cloud is coming into the contest with five straight victories at home, meaning Deshler will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. Kenesaw will take on Lawrence-Nelson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
