High Point Christian Academy benefitted from Powell in 10-0 win
High Point Christian Academy was led to victory by Brock Powell, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Monday. Powell was dynamite, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (he also only allowed one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
Powell's strong effort led High Point Christian Academy over Caldwell Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. High Point Christian Academy is 9-0 against Caldwell Academy going back to March of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
