Volleyball Recap: Cambridge Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Cambridge faced off against Buckeye Local on Saturday. The Bobcats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers.

Cambridge not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Buckeye Local between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21.

Bailey Anderson paced Cambridge's offense, picking up 13 kills. Anderson got some help from Gwen Jefferis and her 22 assists. Mariska Gray controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Cambridge's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Buckeye Local, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Cambridge didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Zanesville on the 29th. As for Buckeye Local, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Edison on the 29th.
