Volleyball Recap: St. John Lutheran Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If St. John Lutheran was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Riverside Christian two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saints fell 3-1 to the Meadowbrook Academy Mustangs on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 2nd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15, 22-25, 25-13.

Leading Meadowbrook Academy to victory were MIA LEWIS and IVA FEARON. LEWIS had eight digs and seven aces, while FEARON had seven digs and four aces. FEARON is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

St. John Lutheran now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Meadowbrook Academy, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3.

St. John Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Meadowbrook Academy, they will square off against Forest at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
