Softball Recap: Camas Comes Up Short

Camas lost against Battle Ground on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Papermakers took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Papermakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camas saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Chambers, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one double.

Camas' defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Battle Ground, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8-1.

Coincidentally, Camas and Battle Ground will both be playing Skyview the next time they take the field. The Papermakers will host the Storm at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
