Dayton took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Elko Indians. This was payback for the Dust Devils, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Dayton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Elko between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19.

Having lost for the first time this season, Elko fell to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Dayton will be playing in front of their home fans against Pershing County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Elko, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Reed on the 16th.
