Jordan-Matthews had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Northwood Chargers a 3-0 shutout. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 15-1 win back in March.

Jordan-Matthews' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Northwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.
