Franklin Road Christian entered their tilt with Zion Christian Academy on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Zion Christian Academy Eagles 71-45. The Minutemen have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Franklin Road Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gracie Tidwell out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards. That's the most rebounds Tidwell has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lakelyn Dempsey, who went 7 for 12 on her way to 16 points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Franklin Road Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive contests.

Franklin Road Christian's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Zion Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.

Franklin Road Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-38 win against Pleasant View Christian on the 24th. As for Zion Christian Academy, they will challenge Franklin Classical School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
