Neither the Titans nor the Vikings could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 draw. There's a chance things could've gone differently had Hidden Valley not been charged with a red card from Jonathan Hamilton.
Hidden Valley hit Northside with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aung Soe, Jackson Frewin, Truett Bartlett, and Ariston Mabes.
Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Salem was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Blacksburg. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Salem couldn't quite close it out.
With that draw, Hidden Valley's record moves to 2-1-1. As for Salem, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
Hidden Valley might still be hurting after the 6-1 loss they got from Salem in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Titans were down 3-0.
