Volleyball Recap: Whitney Comes Up Short

Whitney lost to Woodcreek back in April of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Timberwolves.

Nolan Hook paced Whitney's offense, picking up nine kills. Hook got some help from Balin Sillence-Dhamrait and his 17 assists.

Levi Black was the offensive standout of the contest as he had 11 assists and three digs.

Whitney's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Woodcreek, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Whitney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Folsom on the 16th. As for Woodcreek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Vista del Lago on the 16th.
