Volleyball Recap: Corning Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Corning lost against Shasta back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals came up short against the Wolves, falling 3-0. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11, 25-8.

Brystal McClelland paced Corning's offense, picking up four kills. McClelland got some help from Alexis Jimenez and her five assists.

Corning's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Shasta, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corning will take on Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shasta, they will challenge Chico at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
