Softball Game Preview: Navarro Panthers vs. East Bernard Brahmas

The Navarro Panthers will square off against the East Bernard Brahmas at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Navarro is looking for their season's first win.

Navarro saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came up short against Hallettsville, falling 15-4.

Shelbi Stevens was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Falor, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, East Bernard fell victim to Weimar and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Brahmas' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Navarro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for East Bernard, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
