Soccer Game Preview: Jordan vs. Millikan

Jordan is 0-8-2 against Millikan since December of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Jordan Panthers will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Millikan Rams at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Jordan is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game back in December of 2024. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cabrillo. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 797th, while the Jaguars are ranked 351st).

Meanwhile, Millikan entered their match against Los Alamitos on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Millikan fell just short of Los Alamitos by a score of 1-0.

Jordan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-2. As for Millikan, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-2.

Jordan might still be hurting after the 5-0 defeat they got from Millikan in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Jordan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
