Baseball Recap: Pulaski Triumphs

Pulaski won the last time they faced West De Pere and things went their way on Saturday too. The Red Raiders walked away with an 8-4 win over the Phantoms.

Braun Wotruba made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Wotruba was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Gavin Sikorski was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eli Heuser, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Pulaski's record now sits at 3-1. As for West De Pere, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Phantoms beat Pulaski by a score of 6-4 later that day.
