Basketball Recap: Harrold Comes Up Short

Harrold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Guthrie Jaguars, falling 69-24. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Harrold's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Guthrie, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Harrold will venture away from home to face off against Bryson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Guthrie will take on Throckmorton in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
