Volleyball Recap: R.J. Reynolds' Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Forsyth, R.J. Reynolds was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Glenn Bobcats by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (87-85) R.J. Reynolds actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 10-25, 25-22, 25-20.

R.J. Reynolds' win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-13. As for Glenn, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. R.J. Reynolds is set to square off against their familiar foe Tri-City Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Glenn will face off against rival Northwest Guilford at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
