Baseball Recap: Polytechnic Comes Up Short

Polytechnic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bell Blue Raiders, falling 22-5.

Jorge Arredondo made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Polytechnic's loss dropped their record down to 4-7-1. As for Bell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4-1.

Looking ahead, Polytechnic will square off against Benbrook at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bell, they are taking a road trip to challenge Fort Worth Country Day at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
