Football Game Preview: C. Milton Wright Mustangs vs. North Harford Hawks

For the first time this season, C. Milton Wright will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will look to defend their home field on Friday against the North Harford Hawks at 7:00 p.m. C. Milton Wright's defense has only allowed 10.5 points per game this season, so North Harford's offense will have their work cut out for them.

If North Harford heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when C. Milton Wright took over last week. The Mustangs walked away with a 23-14 win over Havre de Grace on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

C. Milton Wright's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Sabol, who rushed for 43 yards, and also threw for 96 yards and one TD. The Mustangs also got a significant boost from Ryan Stem, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 89 yards.

C. Milton Wright's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Michael Holcomb, Austin Wiater, and Cameron Stepp, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Meanwhile, North Harford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 28-15 to Harford Tech.

C. Milton Wright's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for North Harford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went C. Milton Wright's way against North Harford when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as C. Milton Wright made off with a 27-7 victory. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
