Baseball Recap: Five Straight Road Victories for Osage

Osage proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the New Hampton Chickasaws 5-3. This was payback for the Green Devils, who suffered a 9-5 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Osage pushed their record up to 15-11 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for New Hampton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 24-10.

Coming up, Osage will square off against West Marshall on Saturday. New Hampton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
