Steward is 9-1 against Norfolk Christian since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Steward Spartans just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors at 7:00 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Steward is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Christopher's just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 58-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saints. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Saints are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, Norfolk Christian lost to Granby on the road by a 56-42 margin on Monday. The Ambassadors haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Steward's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Norfolk Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Everything came up roses for Steward against Norfolk Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured an 84-37 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Steward since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
