Alexa Colon gave up the fewest earned runs she has since back in March on Thursday. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Colon and Cox will host Kellam at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 76 places lower in Virginia), but they're not letting that get them down.
