Basketball Recap: St. Catherine's Makes It Seven in a Row on the Road

St. Catherine hadn't done well against St. Joseph recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The St. Catherine's Angels snuck past the St. Joseph Lancers with a 73-67 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-66 back in January.

St. Catherine's got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Laila Collier-White out in front who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Collier-White a new career-high in assists (seven). Jayda King was another key player, going 6-for-14 on her way to 18 points and eight boards.

St. Catherine's pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for St. Joseph, their loss dropped their record down to 16-9.

As of now, neither St. Catherine's nor St. Joseph have any future games scheduled.
