Carlyle had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the North Clay Cardinals by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Indians/Lady Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Riley Terry paced Carlyle's offense, picking up five kills. Terry got some help from Caybri Pollmann and her 12 assists. Jacie Bosler controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Carlyle's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for North Clay, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Carlyle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Greenville on the 15th. As for North Clay, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lebanon on the 13th.
