Softball Recap: Minster Wildcats vs. Houston Wildcats
Minster won against Ansonia on Friday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Minster came out on top against Houston by a score of 4-1. Winning may never get old, but Minster sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Reece Albers was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylin Trego, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Minster's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games.
