Basketball Recap: McKenzie Comes Up Short

McKenzie lost against Huntingdon back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The McKenzie Rebels had to suffer through a 65-21 loss at the hands of the Huntingdon Mustangs. The game marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

McKenzie has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Huntingdon, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

McKenzie will welcome Milan at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th. As for Huntingdon, they will square off against Waverly Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Huntingdon knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Waverly Central likes a good challenge.
